memories, thoughts, et cetera...

These few days i have been catching a DAMN sad jdrama. All along, no drama i've watched can ever make me tear, but i think i totally bawled over this drama. It's called, 1 Litre of Tears.

I wouldn't reveal too much of the plot, if you guys are interested, sign up at crunchyroll and view it online. I can only say it gives me a new perspective of life, and enforced my idea of living my life as much without any regrets.

Couple of weeks before, my mates and i went back to our old campus Lasalle-SIA College of the Arts to pay a last visit.
Reason being, they have already built a newer campus around Sim Lim Square area and they are vacating the old premises for the next occupant SOTA (School of the Arts). I will definitely say lasalle days are one of my best spent days in my life. I got to know true friends, who have been friends till now. We went thru shits together, met fucked up lecturers before, rushed through deadlines together...

Pictures below -

Fine Art Block. Where all the 1st year students go thru foundation studies of sculpture, printmaking (my personal fav!), Pottery, Painting, Glass etc. That row is supposed to be our lockers, if i dun remember wrongly, have to pay about $50 for usage every semester. Was a large amount during my days, so most of us share the lockers. It was said that the toilets was haunted in this area...

Design Block. This building was donated by SIA, thus the name SIA is incorporated in Lasalle. The architecture is one of it's own as i dun see another building built in a half arch, quite a nice work actually. The point where the picture was taken is the photography lab (yes, it's haunted too, my friend Ah Nia actually heard noises in the darkroom when she was developing films alone, eeeeeeeee, reminds me of shutter lor!). The opposite point is the fashion branch.

We found an old marker, and being artsy fartsy designers, how can we not leave our territorial marks? MWTBDLTR (Only the chosen ones knows what that means - it's gonna be our hidden code next time when we're old and famous!). And yes.....i dunno why i spelt my OWN name wrongly. Apparently this area, especially our design head's office, is supposed to be rumored to be haunted as well. I think i remembered that time the "flashdance" secretary heard typing noises coming from the office but found no one in there.....eeee....EVERYWHERE YOU GO IN LASALLE IS HAUNTED!

The school where we nutured our design ambitions. I can dare say we are all doing quite well in our fields of expertise. In the background looking over us is the sculpture done by the late founder, Joseph McNally. I really hope they bring the sculpture over to the new campus, how can they just throw aside something so symbolic and of importance to the school and happily move their butts to a "newer" campus. From my own opinion, i think the statue's open arms symbolises acceptance and nurturing, a very basic in education. If i don't see the statue in the new campus, i'll definitely write into the forum!

We love acting silly. Who says you need to act your age?

Time to say goodbye. Goodbye Goodman!
